Lamb (A2)

Our lamb is farm raised on Blackpool farm in the Cathcart district, giving it the distinct flavour Eastern Cape meat is known for. All the lamb are guaranteed antibiotic and hormone free

Our lamb is supplied fresh. With the option of packing it yourself or us packaging it for you. The meat is matured for 4/5 days before being cut, which encourages natural tenderisation.

Lamb products on offer:

1/2 Lamb, Approx 9-10kg

Consist of: 1 leg, 1 shoulder, appox 20 chops, rack ribs and stewing meat
We offer an option of delivering the shoulder whole or cut up which gives approximately 8 additional chops
The remaining stewing meat consists of premium neck and shank cuts.

Whole Lamb, Approx 18-20kg

Consist of: 2 leg, 2 shoulder, approx 40 chops, rack ribs and stewing meat
We offer an option of delivering the shoulder whole or cut up which gives approximately 16 additional chops
The remaining stewing meat consists of premium neck and shank cuts.

Lambs yield an A2 Class however any additional class can be supplied on request 

Beef

Fillet steaks – Whole.
Our whole tender farm raised steaks weigh approx 1-2 kgs, trimmed and ready to be enjoyed in your home. As our fillets are from “veld” cattle we can guarentee the quality, however the weight is variable.

 

WAGYU BEEF 

(WA=Japanese;GYU=cattle,beef)

Wagyu beef is a premium Japanese breed of cattle, well known and sought after for it intense marbelling and flavour which this produces. 

Wagyu cattle have been shown through research to contain more Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, as well as more “good” monounsaturated fatty acids than other beef. The unique allocation of fatty acids in wagyu heighten both the texture and “feel” of the meat when eaten. It is this inherent trait that has defined the Wagyu breed as some of the most sought after, exclusive beef produced in the world.

Our 100 % Beef Wagyu burgers are Gluten Free, do not contain any additives, animal by products, growth hormones or allergens. These are prepared to deliver a rich flavoursome experience, quickly becoming a household favourite. 

Our Steaks are cut in pieces weighing between 250g to 300g, please specify if you would like them cut differently. Fillets are delivered whole.

Biltong

Unless specified our Beef biltong is produced from grass fed cows off farms within the Fort Beaufort area. Our biltong is MSG, preservative and Gluten free. Our Kudu biltong is also produced from animals from the Fort Beaufort Area. 

VENISON/GAME

Venison being naturally free range , lean and low in saturated fat is a great alternative to beef products. Our venison is sourced from the Fort Beaufort area.
